 Farmington View Information

After School Club Information:

Junior Naturalist Club:

Our Junior Naturalist (15), spend eight Wednesdays during the year working and learning at Camp MadsenFarmington View will provide transportation to the site but parents are responsible for pickup.  Applications were distributed in grades 5&6 last week and need to be returned to the Main Office by October 5th.  There is no cost to participate.

Science Club:

Our Science club (formerly Young Engineers) is open to students in grades 4-6.  The club will meet on Tuesdays from 2:10-3:45 and explore various hands-on science tasks.  There will be three sessions, comprising 12 students this year.  Applications were distributed last Friday and need to be returned to the Main Office by October 5th.  There is no cost to participate.

Art Club:

Information will be going out this week. 

Lego Robotics:

First Lego League - Farmington View has four First Lego League Teams (grades 4-6) up and running.  Teams of approximately six students and two adult volunteers work together to prepare for local and state tournaments.  By participating in Lego Robotics, students will strengthen their teamwork, engineering, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Jr. First Lego  League - Is open to students in grades 1-3 but can include 4th graders.  Teams will form in January and the season lasts until the OMSI Expo in March.  Each team will include up to four students and a parent coach.  This program is part of the First Lego League but is not competitive..

Sumo Wrestling Lego Club - Is open to students in grades 3-6.  This club will form in March and run through May.  This club is unique to Farmington View and is open to any student interested in learning more about programming.  Space is limited and parent volunteers will be needed.
