Admission
We are currently full for the 2012-2013 school year as is our waiting list.
Enrollment is open to Hillsboro Community members & Hilhi faculty. Families who are already enrolled in the Little Spartan Preschool or who are Hilhi faculty have preferential enrollment.
This year's preferential enrollment will begin Monday, April 8th and will end Friday, April 12th. Open enrollment for community members will begin Monday, April15th at 8:00 am.
Only a legal guardian of a child may enroll him/her in the preschool and the children being enrolled must be 3 1/2 years old and completely toilet trained by the September of the school registration year. Enrollment will remain open until the preschool is full. Once the preschool is full the first 30 families thereafter will be placed on the waiting list. Once there are 30 families on the waiting list, the list will close and we will no longer take names for that school year.
How to Enroll:
On the date that enrollment opens please call (do not email or stop by) beginning no earlier than 8:00 am. Leave the following information on the preschool voicemail:
1. Your first and last name
2. Your child's first and last name
3. Your child's date of birth (month, date, year)
4. Your email address (if you have one) and phone number
You will be notified, via a phone call or an email, within the week whether or not your child is registered for the next school year or on the waiting list.
2012-2013 Tuition Cost: Each year costs do rise slightly as our operating costs also rise.
$400 per year; $50.00 per month (8 months - December and June counted as one month); $200 per semester. Tuition pays for many things in the preschool. Some of the items that tuition pays for are; snacks that are provided during snack time for the preschool children, materials used for all learning centers and activities, bus costs for field trips, preschool t-shirts, and the cost of some of the training for the high school students (buddies) via the Health Department and the Oregon Employment Department Child Care Division.

After the open enrollment date families can put their child on the waiting list by either calling or emailing the following information; parent's names, child's name, child's birth date, and phone number to Kelly Purdy 503-844-1980 x.3888 purdyk@hsd.k12.or.us.
