The Bobcat Booster Volunteer Program is designed to support the Farmington View staff in their efforts to educate our children. The Volunteer Program is not limited to parents of students. We encourage all community members, relatives, friends or anyone who enjoys working with children to get involved.
There are new Volunteer Procedures for the Hillsboro School District. It's relatively easy, and once you're cleared, you're good for two years. Visit the
District Volunteer Information webpage to obtain the forms needed.
Once you're approved for volunteering, please fill out the Booster
Volunteer Registration Form and turn in the to FV office. We'll work hard to match your desired time, type of work, and grade level preferences to the needs of the teachers. If you’re a previous volunteer and have worked with a particular teacher in the past and wish to continue that working relationship, please mention that on your form.
We hope you find your volunteer experience to be very rewarding. The teachers, staff and students really appreciate the time you donate to our school. Volunteers are respectfully requested not to bring along preschool children during their volunteer time periods. While we love all our little preschoolers, their presence is often a distraction to the learning process. In addition, there are concerns regarding supervision and liability.
When you begin your volunteer assignment, you must sign in at the office and wear a volunteer name badge. This is for the safety or our students and staff. If you are an Intel or NIKE employee, please keep track of your volunteer hours.
