 Second Grade Homework Policy
  • Students will complete unfinished daily work at home.
  • Students will practice their weekly spelling words at home.
  • Parents should encourage their child to read daily and should read to them.
  • Occasionally, a 5-10 minute activity will be sent home that relates to a theme or unit in the classroom.
  • Homework may be sent home to meet an individual student's special needs.
  • Completed school work will be sent home with children daily or weekly. Parents should go over their child's work and discuss it
  • with them. At times, corrections will need to be made at home and returned to school.
