News and Announcements

Next Tuesday (April 22) afternoon we need a few volunteers to help us set up tables for our annual science fair.

In mid-April our students will have a chance to participate in the Battle of the Books!

Our annual Family Science Night is April 23rd.

Before winter break, our second graders made over 60 scarves to donate to the Recovery Club in Forest Grove...

We at Free Orchards Elementary want to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to Dick’s Evergreen Deck and Fence and the Washington County Master Gardener’s Association.  You will notice that we have a beautiful new fence around our school garden thanks to them!

“Fall into Fun” was the theme at the Free Orchards PTO Costume Carnival held on Nov 1.  Fun was had by all with many games such as fishing for prizes, bean bag toss, duck pond and the dum-dum pumpkin!

Friday, November 1st is our PTO Costume Carnival.

The fall book fair is coming! October 16, 17 and 18th, 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the school library.

Our students in grades Kindergarten through 4th have finished their self-portrait tiles.
4th grade teachers Kim Harrington and Laycee Kinsman received a grant to begin a Free Orchards garden.
