Dear North Plains Families,
The first quarter is over and we are well into No School November! Next week is our only full week of school this month with conferences this week and Thanksgiving coming up soon. Then we have four full weeks until Winter Break, a good chunk of time to get in some solid learning!

As you know, we are really focused on attendance this year! Our district motto is "9 or less is best!" meaning students need to strive to be absent one day or less per month. In our 2nd month of the competition, Ms. Ravins' 4th grade class took 1st place with an average attendance of 98.6% Way to go! Students were rewarded with a popcorn party!
If you are interested in being a part of our North Plains Elementary Family, please fill out a volunteer application online on the district website. We would love to have you help out in the cafeteria, in classrooms, on the playground, or just helping teachers with bulletin boards and laminating!
