SCHEDULE DISTRIBUTION
Schedules will be given out on the first day of school.
7th Graders – Wednesday, September 5th
8th Graders – Thursday, September 6th
SCHEDULE REQUESTS
Parents may make schedule requests prior to the start of the school year.
We will make every effort to honor requests. Limited changes will be allowed
after the first week of school and must be requested in writing.
COUNSELOR APPOINTMENTS
Counselors will be available M-F 9:00 am – 2:00 pm beginning Monday, August 20th.
Please call ahead if you need to visit with a counselor, as there are several District-required meetings that week. If these times are not convenient or you have any questions, please contact the Counseling staff at (503) 844-1226.
NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION
Please help pass the word to new students in your neighborhood who plan to
attend South Meadows this fall … new student registration begins Monday, August 27,
from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 pm and continues through Friday, August 31st.
BUS SCHEDULES
The transportation Center will be mailing out your bus information. If you have any
questions regarding your student’s assignment, please call the Transportation Center
at 503-844-1123.
STUDENT INSURANCE
Students will receive an insurance packet the first day of school to bring home. If you are
interested in the student insurance program, please return the envelope with a check
payable to that company. Envelopes can be turned into the main office.
BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT – September 20th. Parents are encouraged to come meet their
student’s teachers. Please mark your calendars now so you do not miss this important
event.
