Bio:
Ms. Ventura is now in her 16th year of teaching!  She taught high school English for 7 years, and has been at the middle school for the last 9 years now. 
    A graduate of Glencoe High school, Ms. Ventura enjoys giving back to the community where she grew up.
    Ms. Ventura has 2 beautiful children who keep her very busy, and when not teaching or driving her children to one of their many activities, she can be found running, gardening, reading, or enjoying the outdoors.

Welcome to 7th Grade Language Arts - overview 

Seventh grade Language Arts integrates writing, spelling, grammar, literature, reading, listening, and speaking.  The literature component will include the study of mythology, fables, drama, short stories, non-fiction, novels, and poetry.  Students will be expected to write clear and effective paragraphs, and creative compositions.
