¡Bienvenidos!

I am excited for another year here at South Meadows Middle School. I am originally from Southern California, but my family and I love Oregon and have made it our home. I attended Brigham young University for my bachelor's and then Western Oregon University for my master's degree. I have been teaching either Social Studies or Spanish for 5 years now and now I am teaching them both together! I’m looking forward to a great year of learning and fun as a Hawk . ¡Hasta luego!

Spanish Lit: Los estudiantes estan escribiendo narrativas personales sobre una experiencia en su vida en que aprendieron una leccion valiosa. ENGLISH: The students are writing Personal Narratives about a time in their life when they learned a valuable lesson.

7th Grade: Los alumnos estan aprendiendo sobre los antiguos egipcios. Tienen un paquete que contiene toda la informacion y estan preparando para un examen de escritura. ENGLISH: The students are learning about Ancient Egypt. The students have a packet and are preparing for an essay test.

8th Grade: Los alumnos estan aprendiendo sobre la guerra de la revolucion estadounidense. Estan trabajando en escribir un diario, notas, un resumen usando un paquete de informacion, y una cronograma (linea del tiempo). ENGLISH: The students are learning about the Revolutionary War. They are doing a journal, notes, a summary assignment using a packet, and a timeline.
